What is a Radiologist?

Radiologists are medical physicians who specialize in diagnosing diseases using medical imaging. Radiologists are the eyes of medicine working with primary care and specialty physicians to diagnose and care for the ill.

Where are we Located?

We are located at Salem Regional Medical Center in Northeastern Ohio, one hour south of Cleveland and 30 minutes south of Youngstown. Our address is 1995 East State Street, Salem, Ohio 44460. 

 

What does a Radiologist Do?

Radiologists use x-rays, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and MR angiography (MRA), mammography, nuclear medicine (NM), positron emission tomography (PET/CT), and perform angiography to image the body. Radiologists also perform invasive procedures using these technologies.
